Mis trabajos parten de una intuición que va tomando forma primero a través de la palabra poética para llegar a la experimentación sónica y visual. Mi primer trabajo, “Atmósferas Electrónicas”, es el soundtrack de mi libro de poesía “El borde exterior” (Paracaídas Editores, Lima, 2020), y está concebido para ser escuchado mientras se leen los textos. Mis composiciones sónicas están construidas mediante el uso de máquinas analógicas lo-fi (hardware), utilizando junto con ellas grabaciones de campo y archivos sonoros de distinta naturaleza que he recopilado de internet y que los he transformado en samples. En general mi trabajo es experimental y se encuentra en los límites de una pieza sónica y un soundescape.

La primera composición que presento es “El borde exterior”, trabajo que abre este viaje por un planeta arrasado por el capitalismo feroz que vive una sociedad deshumanizada pero que también lucha por reencontrarse de vuelta, aquí en la Tierra. El segundo corte es un nuevo trabajo, se llama “De(i)solation“ y representa la experiencia de la peste y como esta ha producido, especialmente en aquellos que viven en las ciudades, una angustia profunda.

My works form through an intuition that first takes shape through the poetic word which then reaches sonic and visual experimentation. My first work, “Electronic Atmospheres”, is the soundtrack of my poetry book “El edge exterior” (Paracaidas Editores, Lima, 2020), and it is made to be listened to while reading the texts. My sonic compositions are constructed by using lo-fi analog machines (hardware), field recordings and samples sourced from the internet. In general my work is experimental and is in the limits of a sonic piece and a soundescape.

The first composition that I perform is "The Outer Edge", a work that opens a journey through a planet devastated by fierce capitalism, living in a dehumanized society but that also struggles to find itself again, here on Earth. The second cut is a new work, it is called "De (i) solation" and represents the experience of the plague and how it has produced, especially in those who live in cities, deep anguish.
