This was a good exercise to reflect upon my emotions this past year. I allowed myself the freedom to revisit sounds that connect me to my love of Latin music, as well as allow my emotions to be expressed through scenes of nature and the development of new music. During this challenging time, the end of 2020, this soundscape was presented in a time continuum in order to arrive at a place where many of us are today; waiting to see how our lives will be lived both currently, and in the near future.

Living with uncertainty, I am grateful to be able to continue my work. I hope this endeavor, with this project’s variety of bright, intense sounds opposite melancholic chords, will resonate with hearts and minds and help lead us to a greater consciousness for our decisions to come. — Leti Garza

Este fue un buen ejercicio para reflexionar sobre mis emociones del año pasado. Me permití la libertad de volver a visitar sonidos que me conectan con mi amor por la música latina, además de permitir que mis emociones se expresan a través de escenas de la naturaleza y el desarrollo de nueva música. Durante este tiempo desafiante, el final de 2020, este paisaje sonoro se presentó en un continuo de tiempo para llegar a un lugar donde muchos de nosotros estamos hoy; esperando a ver cómo viviremos nuestras vidas tanto en la actualidad como en un futuro próximo.

Viviendo con incertidumbre, agradezco poder continuar con mi trabajo. Espero que este esfuerzo, con la variedad de sonidos intensos y brillantes de este proyecto opuestos a los acordes melancólicos, resuene en los corazones y las mentes y nos ayude a llevarnos a una mayor conciencia de nuestras decisiones futuras. - Leti Garza
